Last night the boyfriend and I went to watch “Batman: The Dark Knight”. I wanted to watch this movie very much because it was Heath Ledger last movie (the very last one is “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” but he did not manage to complete it).
The movie was surprisingly good and in fact I think that it is one of the best movie for the years so far. Even though “Batman Begins” was good but “The Dark Knight” is fantastic. I am totally impress by this movie.
The plot of the story was very exciting and the entire explosion scene and fighting scene were really eye fascinating.
Not forgetting Christian Bale as the Batman who is always so charming and dashing. I love him to bits in this series.
However, in my opinion, I felt that it was the Joker who made this movie an unforgettable ones. I personally felt that Heath Ledger played this role perfectly and he manage to portray the very dark side of the joker. A fantastic performance by him and it is a pity that he couldn’t see how successful this movie will be. I am not totally a fan of his but I have watched quite a number of his show and each of them will leave me with a very strong impression of him. He was such a talented actor who was ever so captivating.
And yeah, how could I forget Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent aka the Two Face. I like him very much after “No Reservations” with Catherine Zeta-Jones because of his performance and his pretty face. I didn’t know he will be in this movie after I saw him appearing right in front of me in the screen. I was overjoyed when I saw him because this movie had 3 of my favorite actors coming together. It was such a nice sight you know; too bad Heath Ledger was in thick paint if not it will be very perfect.
Love this movie to bits, with so many surprising turn in it, I don’t find the movie draggy at all. The boyfriend also likes the movie very much and I am so going to buy the DVD to keep it as a collection once it is out.
Strongly recommend this movie to everyone! This is a masterpiece and I believe that everyone this in era who watched this will always remember it. It will be a classic piece.
